WHAT?
Corpsman can expect to serve the Family of Camps ministries by leading work crews and becoming a project manager as skills and knowledge allow. Our crew can expect to learn valuable skills that will be useful in any camping or church ministries, as well as learning a philosophy of ministry that can be applied to every day life.
WHERE?
Nehemiah Corps is a mobile ministry and involves a lot of traveling. Our home base is located at Ironwood which is located in southern California. The travel season begins in the spring (usually March or April) and is on the road until the fall months (October or November); the winter season usually has us serving in California.
WHEN?
The summer program runs from late May through mid-August. The intern program is a 1 year program beginning in May or June. Either program can be adjusted based on an agreement with the director.
LODGING?
Housing will vary based on the accommodations that the camp has available. It may be a cabin, apartment, RV, etc. Corpsman should expect to have at least one roommate.
WHY?
Our theme is using the temporal to affect the eternal.
